Privacy Notice
The short version: we collect very little, we never sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Wishes you send us — the text you write, including any links.
- Your WhatsApp number — only if you choose to add it after sending a wish.
- Votes — counted as a number. A vote is not linked to you.
- Your sound preference — saved in your own browser, never sent to us.
What we don't do
No accounts, no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, and no selling, renting, or sharing of your information — with anyone. Your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to stop spam; it is not stored.
How we use it
We read wishes to decide which ones we can take forward. If you gave us your WhatsApp number, we use it only to reach you: to credit you when the wish you shared comes true, and to tell you about any rewards program you’re eligible for.
Third-party content
The Max Amini clip plays through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, and only after you press play. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that player. The clip’s thumbnail image is loaded from YouTube’s image servers.
Storage and retention
Information is stored on our own server and kept only while the wish is under review or active, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete anything you’ve sent us, email info@thenextwish.com. We reply within 30 days.
Nominating someone under 18
The Next Wish is not directed at children. If you nominate someone under 18, please make sure you have their parent or guardian’s permission first.
Changes
If this notice changes, we’ll update the date at the top. Questions? Write to us any time. See also our Ownership & Trademark Notice.
